About Me

Hi! My name is Christopher Spaulding and I live in Franklin Park, Illinois which is located just South-east of Chicago's International O'Hare Airport. I created this website for a hobby. However, down the road, I intend to incorporate  a direct business model into it. My skill is not set toward the building of websites. Judging me by this website may in fact disappoint you. My skills as a computer support technician and consultant far exceed my skills as a website developer. I perform on site service for the greater Chicago area and suburbs. I take on most computer related technology challenges.  For four and a half years, I have been working under the Nerds on Site brand since May, 2006. In December, 2010 my career took  a different direction and I rejoined  Chris Novak and his company Professional Nerds. In August, 2011, I received an opportunity to work with a growing company called PLS where I am further developing my skills to work with a team of I.T. professionals as a field service technician maintaining a computer network of check cashers and loan stores across the tri-state area of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.  My computer interests started as early as a youngster, but hadn't really took off until 1992 when I received my first computer running Windows 3.1. Since then I purchased many other computers as well as worked on various Windows operating systems. These computers included Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP, Windows SBS 2003, and Windows Vista. In developing my skills further I've built personal computer systems which are currently active.

Personal History:

By memory, the nickname Fisto was given to me approximately 1974 when I was a very young. A next door neighbor thought up the name along with many other odd names given to various friends of his. Since then, everybody called me by the nickname Fisto. This would distinguish me from all the other friends named Chris within our clan. Today, many of my close friends  still call me Fisto.  For that, I have built a network for my friends, family and fans. That network is Fisto.Net.
